Bank has its corporate office at New Delhi and 25Zonal Offices which in turn have 47 independent Regional Offices and 16 Regional Offices Integrated with Zonal Offices under which 4068branches function. Punjab National Bank is in the banking business and does functions stated under section 6 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer Undertaking) Act 1970. |

The powers and duties of officers and employees are decided by the Board of Directors and in terms of Service Regulations and Memorandum of Understanding / agreements with majority unions. |

Different powershave been delegated by the Board of Directors to the officers at various levels for performing their duties. In order to exercise supervision and fix accountability, various control measures have been put in place. |

Board of the Bank includes directors from public of various disciplines as nominated by Government of India in consultation with Reserve Bank of India. Bank's quarterly results and annual results/reports are published in the bank's website periodically for information of public as well as shareholders. Shareholders can raise issues concerning policies in the Annual General Meetings which can relate to the policy of the Bank. Customer service meetings with the clientele drawn from different segments are also conductedat various levels at regular intervals where members of public get idea about the policies of the Bank and implemenatation thereof. |

Board of the Bank is constituted under the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970. Various committees, as per the requirements of the Bank, are formed as per the approval of the Board or by the top management, as per the powers delegated by the Board. Public are notentitled to participate on the meetings of the Board/ committees and minutes are not accessible to public. |
