PNB has entered into Money
Transfer Service arrangement with Western
Union, under the arrangement, Bank's branches designated
for the purpose shall handle the remittances originated
by individulas at overseas centres through Western Union
Services.
For remittance upto Rs.50,000/-, the beneficiary will
visit the designated branch personally, along with valid
identification document like passport, ration card,
driving licence, voter card, PAN card etc. for receiving
payment in cash.
In
case the remittance exceeds Rs. 50,000/-, payment to
be made by credit to beneficiary's account
with PNB Branch or through crossed pay order/ draft/
TPO.
In
case the receiver is a foreign national tourist,
entire amount to be paid in cash only.
